Abducted is an experimental 3D physics-based alien abduction game. The game was created for the GMTKJam 2020 with the theme 'out of control'.
Inspired by Pixar's short film Lifted, the player has to abduct a human  as fast as they can by pressing literally any key on keyboard, mouse and controller! The players input gets randomized each game round and every single key makes the spaceships's beam perform a different action. Abducted was made by Jan Plähn and Ana Laura Martinez in 48 hours.

Ha! Fastest time I managed to get is 27 seconds. I had fun playing this game. I added some extra random controllers to the game. Loved the idea of randomized button each play through. You could add small toys and triggered items in the room. For example, if you smashed into an alarm clock it would flash time or a message. I am impressed the guy remained asleep after all the ruckus I made in that room.

Your game is the first one in the video.

Thank you for playing and featuring us! Yes he is a very heavy sleeper haha. And thank you for your feedback and ideas!

My playthrough

Thank you so much for featuring us in your video! :)
Controllers are randomized every time you play! We wanted to emulate the feeling of not knowing what you are doing, like in the Pixar video "Lifted" :)
Thank you again!

Pretty creative game! Only feature I didn't appreciate was how I couldn't use the ESC key to leave to the main menu or out of the game entirely.

Thank you so much for your feedback! We'll keep it in mind when updating the game! :)

It's an interesting idea, but I couldn't manage to get him through the window. I do also like the font you're using. Could you tell me what it's called?

Beautifully creative idea and execution, I would love to see more

P.S. I didn't know that the controls were randomized though, that makes even more interesting

Gameplay of it from 0:31 - 1:27

Thank you so much! ^^ makes us incredibly happy to hear this, and thank you for featuring it! :)
